I really enjoy photographing birth. I love the stories that pictures can tell. This one was so sweet and so easy (for those of us not in labor of course). She went into labor around dinner time and had the baby before bed time (that rarely happens!). She and her husband worked together so amazingly as a team.
This was the first birth that I have photographed with Cyndi Johnson, who I work for as a Birth Assistant, making it extra fun. This is actually the daughter-in-law and son of her other Birth Assistant, Lisa and took place at Lisa's house-so really it was like spending time with family. I am so happy for them!
